Brantley Creek Longleaf Farm is a hunting and recreational property in Terrell County, Georgia, offering a diverse mix of longleaf pine, hardwoods, and creek bottom habitat. The property is well suited for quail, deer, turkey, and hog hunting. The longleaf pine was planted in 2000 and selectively thinned approximately two years ago. The result is an increasingly open longleaf landscape with the opportunity for understory vegetation to flourish, creating excellent wildlife habitat and particularly favorable conditions for quail. Approximately 167 acres are enrolled in CRP through 2029. The property is also enrolled in a carbon agreement with additional income depending on carbon prices. A Georgia Tax Covenant provides reduced property taxes for 10 year terms. Brantley Creek Longleaf Farm is a well rounded Georgia hunting property with established longleaf timber, diverse habitat, existing income, and a strong foundation for continued wildlife management.
